This MRM project was all about making a home more family friendly, focusing on connections, circulation and convenience.
We started with demolition that went all the way to the studs as we swapped the original kitchen and dining room. The newly-configured, light-filled space now includes a butcher-block center island, new windows and an entryway catch-all area with kid-level nooks and hooks. Other main-level improvements: a modernized powder room and hardwood floors. The long-neglected basement is now a fun “Kids Zone” play room that features a built-in slide.
