Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager with 10 years of experience in construction/remodeling and 5 years’ experience with project management in residential remodels. Green/sustainable building experience a plus. The Project Manager role at Model Remodel is to monitor and support a project from start to successful finish, focusing primarily on tracking the project cost compared to original budget, generating financial performance reports, facilitating, and awarding subcontractor contracts, assisting in the purchase of materials, and overseeing invoice and schedule-related activities. The PM ensures communication channels remain open and fluid between all participants engaged in the project, and that risk factors are resolved as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.

Lead Carpenter – Supervisor

We are seeking a Lead Carpenter – Supervisor with 5 years of experience in residential remodeling. Green/sustainable building experience a plus. The Supervisor role at Model Remodel is focused primarily on managing and orchestrating all crew carpenters, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, building and special inspections and King County/Seattle City entities that may be involved or have an impact on the project. The Supervisor is also responsible for ordering of building materials and project permits when applicable in a timely manner and managing the project site in a professional, safe condition at all times. The Supervisor also performs a variety of carpentry tasks at a high level.

Sales Associate

We are seeking a Client Services Sales Associate with 10 years of experience in construction/remodeling and 5 years of experience estimating, selling, and closing big ticket projects within the home remodeling and construction industry. Green/sustainable building experience a plus. The role of Sales Associate at Model Remodel is to sell our services to meet the needs of our clients and meet the profit targets of the company by showing overall value of the service Model Remodel offers to our clients over the cost of such service.  The goal of each sale is to have a happy client at the conclusion of their project, one who will act as a referral to future clients.

Journeyman Carpenter

We are seeking a carpenter with a minimum 5 years of experience in residential remodeling. Green/sustainable building experience a plus. High level of rough and finish carpentry skills required. Our Journeyman Carpenter is the second in command on the job site and provides strong support for the job site Supervisor with day-to-day project operations, tasks and installations. The Journeyman will perform hands-on carpentry in all phases of a project. The Journeyman can comprehend architectural drawings/construction plans and upholds quality control standards at all times. The Journeyman assists in maintaining project schedule by working closely with the Supervisor, crew and subcontractors.
